Nippon Kan is an independent Aikido Dojo located in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A. In addition to our training on the mat, our goal is to extend the philosophy of Aikido into the world beyond the dojo with the Aikido Humanitarian Active Network (AHAN). Founded in 1978 by Gaku Homma Sensei, the last live-in student of Aikido founder Morihei Ueshiba at Aiki Jinja, Iwama dojo, Nippon Kan strives to be a complete cultural experience with worldwide Humanitarian assistance programs, Japanese Country Museum, award winning Japanese Gardens, and Country Foods Restaurant, Domo.
